Catherine Lunde is a Licensed Professional Counseling and a Texas Certified School Counselor. She holds a Master of Arts in Counseling degree from the University of Texas at San Antonio and a BBA degree from the University of Texas at Austin. She has worked for ExxonMobil, Harvard University, and for The Woodlands High School as a Biology teacher and a Response to Intervention (RtI) specialist. She has been married for 21 years and has experienced the challenges and blessings of two 12th grade sons with special needs.
Catherine specializes in ADHD, Tourette Syndrome, parenting, anxiety, depression, infertility, grief, and stress management. She also provides guidance and assistance to help families learn how to collaborate and work effectively with schools when seeking special education services.
Catherine enjoys helping individuals set reasonable expectations and develop specific strategies to attain their personal goals. She helps clients identify and draw upon their own strengths to heal emotional wounds and experience positive change. She uses a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-focused Therapy to help individuals gain immediate and life-long coping skills. By developing these skills, individuals can better handle future challenges, experience personal growth, and enjoy healthier relationships.

Jonathan is a clinical mental health counselor who holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. He has vast experience in dealing with ADHD, anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and mood and personality disorders, among others. As a counselor, he values the importance of an individual’s upbringing, experiences, and culture in the counseling process, and he strives to ensure that all clients feel understood and cared for.
Jonathan is an integrative therapist, meaning that he uses various therapeutic modalities and techniques to tailor therapy to each client's unique needs and strengths. His goal is to help clients develop effective coping strategies and new ways of thinking that will increase their sense of empowerment. Ultimately, he desires to help his clients become self-sufficient so that they no longer need his services.
In addition to providing individual and couples counseling services, Jonathan specializes in sports counseling. He works with current and transitioning athletes to improve their mental health and performance. For current athletes, Jonathan’s primary goal is to help them enhance mental toughness, build confidence, improve focus, and manage competitive anxiety. For transitioning athletes, Jonathan focuses on helping them find new purpose and fulfillment beyond athletics.
Brittany Apple has a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Boston College and Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Sewanee: The University of the South. Brittany is a native to Georgia but has worked in Massachusetts, Georgia, and Texas in various settings. She began her training at Franciscan Children’s Hospital inpatient unit in Boston, Massachusetts, which provided her invaluable experience in working with younger clients and their families in imminent need. Other settings have included both group homes and nursing homes, but most of her work experience has been in outpatient group practice settings with adults, adolescents, and children. She has worked with clients on a variety of issues including PTSD, trauma, depression, anxiety, other related mood disorders, couples counseling, life transitions, and loss. She is trained in play therapy as well as traditional talk therapy with adults, children and adolescents.
Brittany’s strategies are rooted in positive psychology and Cognitive Behavior Therapy. Clients are encouraged to examine core beliefs and thinking patterns and most importantly, identify personal strengths. She meets her clients right where they are in a space free of judgment. By utilizing a strength-based approach, soon clients are confidently helping to determine a uniquely suited plan to address their needs. Brittany is there to actively listen but also quick to jump into action when concrete strategies are needed to tackle certain issues. She incorporates worksheets, games, art, books, media, etc. when relevant, knowing that clients can benefit from having a range of therapy tools to choose from. She also has a comfort level incorporating spiritual and religious practice content into therapy, but only if desired by the client.
Arianne Valdez is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC), and Certified Trauma Professional (CTP). She holds a Master of Science in Counseling from Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi. She has spent the last eight years primarily working in the field of child advocacy and welfare with survivors of sexual, physical, and emotional abuse where she identifies and assesses symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) in children.
Additionally, Arianne was previously employed in the elementary school setting at Cy-Fair ISD where she provided counseling services for children regarding topics of grief (death of a parent, sibling, or classmate), bullying, self-esteem issues, improving social skills, improving coping skills, managing self-harm, and managing anxiety. When working with children, Arianne utilizes Child-Centered Play Therapy skills and strategies based on the work of Gary Landreth.
Moreover, Arianne enjoys working with couples where she can utilize her Level 1 Training in the Gottman Method to work with couples having communication difficulties, arguments, lack of trust, infidelity, understanding a neurodivergent partner, parenting style conflicts, divorce, and other marital dilemmas.
During her sessions, Arianne always operates first from a client-centered theoretical orientation to provide a warm, non-judgmental space for her clients to open up, feel heard, and be validated. She also recognizes the connection between thoughts, behaviors, and actions and often incorporates strategies from Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) in her work.
Newest member of our team is Bri, a Texas native who has lived in the Magnolia area her entire life, is a newlywed with a strong desire to help people in need. Bri is dedicated to creating a welcoming and comforting office environment for those seeking therapy, ensuring each person feels valued and supported from the moment they walk in.
Her passion for building personal connections with clients is evident in her day-to-day interactions. Bri's extensive experience with children of all ages and individuals with special needs showcases her versatility and commitment to understanding and addressing diverse needs. Her loving and empathetic nature allows her compassion to shine, making her an invaluable asset to our team. Whether it's offering a comforting word or a helping hand, Bri's presence brings a sense of calm and reassurance, making our office a safe haven for everyone
